The Style tab located in all blocks offers options to style a single block. These options include borders, background color, and block size. Styles that coordinate with the website's theme have been created and are available to select under the Style tab in each block.

Nested Blocks Automatically Inherit Styles

Nested blocks have what is called a parent/child relationship. Blocks inside other blocks are the children of the outermost containers. Only Container Blocks allow nesting of other blocks. Due to this parent/child relationship, blocks nested inside Container Blocks inherit the styles applied to the parent. For instance, if the Container Block has a border applied, the Picture Block and General Block nested inside that container will also have a border around their blocks resulting in a double border. There is an option to override this automatic inheritance of styles called "Ignore Parent Styles." See Ignoring Parent Styles

Steps: How to Preview Block Styles

1. Click on the  button above the block to edit.

2. Click on the "Style" tab.

3. Click on the "Preview All Styles" button.

4. Click and Drag the Scroll Bar to view all the styles.

5. Click the red "X" to close the Styles Preview window.

6. Proceed to Step 3 below, to select a Style to apply to the block.

Steps: How to Select a Block Style

1. Click on the  button above the block to edit.

2. Click on the "Style" tab.

3. Click to add a check mark in the box next to the style(s) to apply to the block.

4. Click on the "Save" button.
