HotDoodle allows for the offering of discounts in a product catalog through the creation of promos. All product catalogs share a checkout where promo codes are entered to award a discount and promotions apply to all product catalogs.

Visitors can receive discount in a few different ways:

• A default promo can automatically award a discount at checkout
• A promo code can be edtered at checkout by a customer
• A special URL can be created to apply a promo discount when a visitor enters the website using the link (Usually provided to existing clients or a unique group of people in a newsletter or otherwise)

Multiple promotions may be entered at checkout, but only the promotion with the lowest total price will be applied in the cart.
